Scope: Communications & Info design

Community Involvement: The Ellis School Pre-K and Kindergarten classes

Statement: “Through my senior project, I fulfilled the 60-hour graduation requirement as I explored my interest in the fields of Communications and Design. I met with two mentors outside of Ellis who work in both professions to learn more about the overall fields, skill sets, as well as typical projects and presentations that they encounter. Additionally, I designed coloring sheets for the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes at my school, which my mentor(s) gave their feedback on to strengthen my designs. The subject of the sheets will pertain to COVID-19 to educate and communicate about safety precautions through an interactive approach and creative outlet. The designs were distributed to the kids through their teachers, and the PDFs were uploaded to the school website for the after-school program and parents to print at home.”
