Scope:

Assignment Objectives:

  • The brand will be composed of three components: company name, tagline, and icon/logo– each is responsible for conveying a different aspect of the product/message

  • Brand association: associating your company/institution with a charity or non-profit organization allows you to create a more unique brand by expanding the company's story to include a philanthropic purpose that allows the audience/consumer to contribute to positive change

Concept Poster

Scope: Graphic Design

Assignment Objectives:

  • Choose one of the following: (1) a Shakespearian or Greek play, (2) an opera, or (3) a personal choice

  • Project a clear understanding of content, a commitment to the message, and an intended sequence of encounters step away from the literal landscape and explore symbolic and metaphoric images and relationships

  • Use appropriate graphic vocabulary to represent the message, a definite sequence of hierarchy, composition with emphasis on directional intervals of space, and attention to the dynamic possibilities of the frame selection

  • Utilizing the principles of visual hierarchy and composition
